Benin sustainable development report 2022

Benin is once again demonstrating its consistent and progressive progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.

In the first year of its partnership with Benin, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a UN-accredited agency known for its expertise and independence, has produced its first report on the country. The document, which is intended to be a baseline, presents Benin’s starting point in its commitment to implement the 2030 Agenda, starting with the inaugural Eurobond SDO issue in July 2021.

This pilot report is the first to provide an independent analysis of the country’s SDG performance and trends in comparison with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) as well as the policies and progress made there.
